The Longboard – Sullivan’s Island is the second iteration of The Longboard concept, originally born on St. John, USVI. The flagship location opened May 1, 2015 in the heart of Cruz Bay, St. John, offering light & healthy fares and creative cocktails inspired by coastal regions around the globe.
A sister-restaurant, The Easterly, located in Red Hook on the island of St. Thomas, opened in January 2020, offering wood-fired rustic Caribbean cuisine focused on fresh & local seafood, as well as a robust beverage program including handcrafted cocktails, local beers and an extensive wine list.
The Sullivan’s Island location of The Longboard will be a hybrid of sorts of the original Longboard concept from St. John and The Easterly on St. Thomas, bringing the fresh & innovative cuisine served in the Caribbean to the South Carolina coastal region on Sullivan’s Island. The menu will be heavily seafood-focused, serving fresh & locally sourced seafood & ingredients when possible. The bar program will focus on innovative craft cocktails with a Caribbean flare, locally brewed beers, a full wine list, and house made refreshments.
